Prayer for the Rebellious Teenagers

Father, in the name of Jesus I affirm Your Word over my child, who is in rebellion toward us and You. I cast those cares and the burden of this situation over on You, trusting You to sustain me and my child. I commit _____ to You and delight myself also in You, looking to the fulfillment of a solution. I know that where there is no way, Jesus is the Way. With thanksgiving I ask You to deliver my child ______ out of rebellion into right relationship with us.

Father, the first commandment with a promise is to the child who obeys their parents in the Lord. You said that all will be well with them and they will live long on the earth. I affirm this promise on behalf of my child asking You to give ______ an obedient spirit that they honor (esteem and value as precious) their mother and father.

Father, forgive me for mistakes made out of my own unresolved hurts or selfishness which may have caused _____ hurt. I release the anointing that is upon Jesus to bind up and heal our broken hearts. Give us the ability to understand and forgive one another as God for Christ's sake has forgiven us. Thank You for the Holy Spirit Who leads us into all Truth and corrects erroneous perceptions about past or present situations. Thank You for teaching us to listen to each other and giving ______an ear that hears admonition for then they will be called wise. I affirm that I will speak excellent and princely things.

Father, I commit to train and teach______in the way that they are to go and when _____is old they will not depart from sound doctrine and teaching, but will follow it all the days of their life. In the name of Jesus, I command rebellion to be far from the heart of my child and confess that they are willing and obedient (even if they don't appear to be), free to enjoy the reward of Your promises. ________ shall be peaceful bringing peace to others.

Father, according to Your Word we have been given the ministry of reconciliation and I release this ministry and the word of reconciliation into this family situation. I refuse to provoke or irritate or fret my child, I will not be hard on my child lest they become discouraged, feeling inferior and frustrated. I will not break _____ spirit in the Name of Jesus and wrongs which they have done and stand in the gap until they come to their senses and escape out of the snare of the enemy (rebellion).

Thank You for watching over Your Word to perform it, turning and reconciling the heart of the rebellious child to the parents (and not destroying them), and the heart of the parents to the child. Thank You for bringing my child back into a healthy relationship with You and me that our lives might glorify You. AMEN.

If you know that apologies should be made for your behavior toward your childgo for it.   Parents
remember, discipline without love creates rebellion.

Inspirational Prayer of the Day

How? "In everything give thanks for this is the will of God concerning you." Ephesians 5:20; Psalm 71:8, 15

"True prayer is simply a quiet, sincere, genuine conversation with God. It is a two-way dialogue between friends."
-John 15:15-

1 TIMOTHY 2:1-4

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable is the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be Saved, and to come unto the knoweledge of the Truth.

*Genesis 3:8 - "They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day."

"...Sin and the cares of this world can keep us from developing our relationship with God. But He longs to have fellowship with us, truly intimate fellowship. He doesn't want us merely to go to church, rush through our Bible reading, or repeat a prayer. He wants us to know Him as a Person and spend quality time with Him.

Today, remember that God wants to have an intimate relationship with you. He is your Heavenly Father. Talk with Him. Share your burdens with Him. Let Him teach you, refresh you and change you.

Father, I desire a more intimate relationship with You.
I want to hear Your voice and fellowship with You every day. Help me to draw closer to You than ever before. In Jesus'
Name. Amen."

Heavenly Father, Teach me not to procrastinate but to do what I can today, because there is no promise of tomorrow. Lead me to those people who are in need of something that I can give. I want to be available for You to use in any way that You should choose. Amen.

"Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!"
-1 Chronicles 4:10-

"It is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His Will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor."

Great and Wonderful Heavenly Father, in the holy name of Jesus, we bring before You the nation (or continent)
of ____________ and its leaders. Father, You've said in Your Word that You reprove leaders for our sake, so that we may live a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

We pray that skillful and godly wisdom has entered into the heart of _______ leaders and that knowledge is pleasant to them, that discretion watches over them, and understanding keeps them and delivers them from the way of evil and from evil men.

We pray that the upright shall dwell in government: that men and women of integrity, remain. The wicked shall be cut off and the treacherous shall be rooted-out (according to Your promise). We pray that those in authority winnow the wicked from among the good and bring the threshing wheel over them to separate the chaff from the grain, for loving-kindness and mercy, truth and faithfulness preserve those in authority and their offices are upheld by the people's loyalty.

We pray (by faith) and believe that the good news of the Gospel is published in this land. We thank You for laborers of the Harvest to publish Your Word that Jesus is Lord in _______.

We thank You for raising up intercessors to pray for _______ in Jesus' Name we declare and pray. Amen.

Acts 12:24

Gracious Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name, we give thanks for the United States and its government. We hold up in prayer before You the men and women who are in positions of authority.

We pray and intercede for the president, the representatives, the senators, the judges of our land, the policemen, as well as the governors and mayors, and for all those who are in authority over us in any way. We pray that the Spirit of the Lord rest upon them. We believe that skillful and Godly wisdom has entered into the heart of our president and knowledge is pleasant to him. Discretion watches over him; understanding keeps him and delivers him from the way of evil and from evil men.

Father, we ask that You compass the president about with men and women who make their hearts and ears attentive to Godly counsel and do that which is right in Your sight. We believe You cause them to be men and women of integrity who are obedient concerning us that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all Godliness and honesty (as Your Word has said).

We pray that the upright shall dwell in our government... that men and women blameless and complete in Your sight, Father, shall remain in these positions of authority...

Your Word declares that blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord (Ps.33:12). (By faith), we receive Your blessing. Father, You are our refuge and stronghold in times of trouble, (high cost destitution and desperation). So (by faith) we declare/confess with our mouths that Your people dwell safely in this land, and we prosper abundantly. We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus!

It is written in Your Word that the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord, and You turn it whichever way You desire. We believe the heart of our leader is in Your hand and that his decisions are divinely directed of You according to Your purpose for Your plan...

We give thanks unto You that the good news of the Gospel is published in our land; and our Word prevails and grows mightily in the hearts and lives of the people. We give thanks for this land and the leaders You have allowed to rule over us, for Your purpose in the earth in these last days, in Jesus' name. AMEN

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him, who knew no sin, to be SIN FOR US, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

If you are here on this blog, that means you've passed your tests. Many are tested and fail. They didn't get that most important prayer answered, so they dropped the ball in believing (some even became Atheist). Thank you, for your tenacity. You will surely be rewarded. Hebrew 11:6 says, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that He IS, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently see Him."

Heavenly Father, my prayer is that I would learn to trust You more. It's such a comfort to know that my life is in Your hands, and the circumstances surrounding me are in Your control. Remind me daily that choosing to be happy is an option. May I find my strength in Your joy. Amen.

JEREMIAH 15:15-18 (Jeremiah)

"O Lord, You know: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in Your long-suffering: know that for Your sake I have suffered rebuke. Your Words were found, and I did eat them; and Your word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts. I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced: I sat alone because of Your hand: for You have filled me with indignation.

Why is my pain perpetual and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? Will You be altogether to me as a liar, and as waters that fail?"

LUKE 18:1-8

"And he spake a parable unto them to this end, THAT MEN OUGHT ALWAYS TO PRAY, AND NOT TO FAINT (QUIT)." Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary. And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge says, And shall not God avenge His own elect, which cry day and night unto Him, though he bear long with them: I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?

JOHN 15:7-8

If you live in me, and my Words live in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.
Herein is my Father glorified that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

JAMES 4:2-3

"You lust, and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet you have not, because you ask not. You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts (pleasures)."

"I break all curses of death spoken by people in authority in my nation over my nation in the name of Jesus. I break curses of death spoken against America by people from other nations in the name of Jesus."**

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures:
he leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul:
he leads me in the paths of righteousness
for His Name's Sake.
Yes, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for You are with me; Your rod and
Your staff comfort me.
You prepare a table
before me in the presence of my enemies:
You anointest my head with oil; my cup runs over.
Surely, goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the House of the Lord for ever.

Linda, who is a shepherd, says this psalm "shows how the Shepherd takes care of his sheep and provides the best for them. If we aren't lying down in green pastures, that is because of our choices, not our Shepherd, Jesus'. He provides all our needs; we shall not want (need) anything. Sheep are fearful of fast moving streams; but will be quenched by water that is easily available to them. He restores our soul...with His gentle voice and care, He cares for us. Valley of the shadow of death, can be any distressing thing in our lives. Not just physical death. Sheep rely on their shepherd to take care of them, and get them through the rough places into the green pastures where they feel secure. He provides in abundance for them...their cup runs over. He is truly a Good God!"

Fret not yourself because of evil-doers,
neither be envious against the workers of iniquity.

For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
and wither as the green herb.

Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shall you dwell in the land,
and surely you shall be fed.

Delight yourself also in the Lord;
and he shall give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

And he shall bring forth
your righteousnessness as the light,
and your judgment as the noonday.

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;
fret not because of him who prospers in his way,
because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath:
fret not in any wise to do evil.

For evil-doers shall be cut off:
but those that wait upon the Lord they shall inherit the earth.
